Men’s Hair Loss and Male Pattern Baldness
As to the causes of hair loss in men, Androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness (MPB) is responsible for the vast majority of such disease. There are many possible reasons why people lose hair that includes serious disease, reaction to definite medicine and in rare cases tremendously stressful events, most hair loss is men can be held responsible on genetics.
Male pattern hair loss is normally distinguished with the onset of a receding hairline and lessening crown. Hair in these areas as well as the temples and mid-anterior scalp appear to be the most sensitive to DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). This pattern eventually progresses into more perceptible baldness throughout the whole top of the scalp, leaving only a rim or “horseshoe” pattern of hair remaining in the more advanced stages of MPB. For some men even this enduring rim of hair can be affected by DHT.
