Folliculitis

Folliculitis is a bacterial infection of the hair follicles and is fairly common as it can be spread through the use of clippers that have not been sterilised correctly. Without treatment, this condition can also lead to diffuse hair loss as the inflammation of the scalp leads to production of superoxide, which causes hair shedding. Though your hair will regrow, it may not be as thick as it was before.

To treat this condition, we would recommend:

No.2 - Salictlic Acid and Cade Oil Scalp Cream
Directions - Directions for Use: To be applied every other day. Leave on for approximately 20 minutes, rinse off well and shampoo thoroughly

No.4 - Shampoo with Juniper Oil for Dandruff
Directions - Directions for Use: Wet hair thoroughly and apply shampoo, gently massage into the scalp and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.
Ingredients - Aqua, Solidium Laureth Sulfate, Mealauryl Sulfate, Cocoamide Mea, Juniper, Panthenol, Citric Acid.

No.9 - Lotion with Aloe Vera for Inflamed Scalps
Directions - Directions for Use: After washing the hair, towel dry a little and apply the lotion, either straight from the bottle, or by wetting cotton wool and then applying to the scalp. The lotion is then left on the scalp to allow it to have an ongoing effect until the hair is next washed.
Ingredients - Aqua, Glycerine, Cetramide, Aloe Vera, Wheat Amino Acid, Panthenol, Piroctone Olamine
